We enjoyed a long weekend getaway for spring break this year. I booked a condo through VRBO in The Galena Territory, and we drove for almost five hours to spend three nights there. It felt wonderful to escape, especially since life has been so busy lately. While in Galena, we explored the historic town, which included shopping, dining at a steakhouse and a French bistro, attending a magic show, and touring President Grant's home. We also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the clubhouse near our condo. On our way home, we stopped in Dubuque, Iowa, to visit the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium.
