Ingrid participated in a nine-day trip to Costa Rica organized by her school's optional field study program offered by the School of Environmental Studies. The range of experiences that the students had during the trip was astonishing, as they stayed at biological stations located in the rainforest and a volcano national park. They engaged in various activities such as visiting local schools, hiking in nature, touring a coffee plantation, zip-lining, visiting a sloth sanctuary, swimming in hot springs, river rafting, and attending guest speaker sessions almost every evening. Ingrid had a fantastic time, to say the least, and we are thrilled that she went on this trip!
