Summer in Norway

Here are the highlights from our two week vacation to Norway.  We flew in and out of Oslo this time, and we are so grateful to Vidar and Vibeke for sharing their home with us at the beginning and ending of our trip.  The middle part of the trip was spent in Luster visiting family, friends, relaxing, and enjoying nature.

Going for a ride in Uncle Vidar's race car

Henri and Ask playing video games

Visiting an island full of WWII relics

Liv and Ingrid on the trampoline

Swimming in Oslo Fjord

On a car ferry heading to Luster

Pappa and Henri rowing in the fjord

Out for an evening walk with Kari

Visiting Olga at the care center in Luster

Out for a family hike and stopping to enjoy the view!

Visiting Dale Church where Ingrid was baptized as a baby.

Hanging out at Kari's cabin up in the mountains

This brave group jumped into the fjord for a refreshing swim!  We are so grateful to Erik and Ingjerd for driving to Luster for the weekend to see us.

So much natural beauty!

Visiting the Fram Museum in Oslo

...and having a little fun in the gift shop!
