South Africa

Here are the pictures from our amazing trip to South Africa.  We flew into Cape Town and rented a car to drive the Garden Route for two weeks.  We had a great time enjoying the beautiful nature of Africa, no one got sick, and we were safe the whole time.  A successful trip!  It was a nine hour flight from Dubai, but not so bad because it is only a two hour time difference.  I think that we are becoming experienced travelers when we consider a nine hour flight with kids to be easy.  It is the time zones that are killer!

At Birds of Eden, the world's largest free-flight aviary.  We had a great day here and got to see so many different birds up close.

Spur, our favorite restaurant in South Africa.  We all loved it for its cheap food, cold beer, and a kids play area.  What's not to love!?!
