After two months of living without a kitchen, we can finally start cooking again. Our goal was to have this project completed before Ingrid was born, but like most projects, it took longer than we thought.
Our old kitchen was dated and needed more color and warmth. To stay within our budget we kept the old, but functional design. This way we wouldn't need major electrical/plumbing work. We did however have our plumber, Tom, come help us with the sink and dishwasher.
The new kitchen features new appliances, wood cabinets, and a tile floor. Installation was for the most part easy, but some days I spent more time at the home improvement store, buying tools and doing research, than actually working on the kitchen.
